Hailing from the gorgeous city of Vancouver, on the West Coast of Canada, Glenda Rae & The Essentials have been gaining fans from across the globe with their highly improvisational form of Pop Rock, Blue eyed soul. Fans describe them as “if the rock icons Steely Dan added Annie Lennox as their lead vocalist.”
Their arrangements have beautiful anthemic elements reminiscent of Queen’s orchestrated vocal and guitar sections.
It would not be an overstatement to describe Glenda Rae's voice as one of the great instruments in Canadian or global popular music.
